The year of 2021, A little different work wise for me as I beacme a mum for the first time, to a beautiful baby girl, but I had some fun doing a couple of shoots through the year and a few weeks on set to! thanks for everyone for coming in for studio shoot, it was lovely to work witn you all!

Lovely to see one of my unit still photos used as the poster for Roy! Poster design by the wonderful Dan Anscombe.
This project has been in my mind for a long time and was a way of expressing feelings of grief and loss. With the help of the wonderfully talented Jamal Sterrett phoenix through dance, he helped me bring these ideas from my mind into reality.
This shoot was so beautiful and emotional for me and I shall treasure the shots forever!

Happy New Year!
2019 has been another brilliant year in photography, from shooting portraits at the Hermit studio in Nottingham studio to behind the scenes on short films with amazing actors such as Stephen Graham, to photographing for events and working as a photographer at Boots!
I’m so grateful for all the opportunities I’ve had this year and I look forward to 2020 and all that it brings!

I had the opportunity to work as a Unit stills photographer recently on a BFI short film called Pop which is about identity and gender, the short needs some support to get it to completion.
The talented Director Laura Margo Roe and DOP Bartholomew Bazaz did an amazing job on the film as well as the rest of the crew, and it was so much fun to work on, I had the pleasure to work with the wonderful Stephen Graham and the young lead Jake.

At the Beginning of this year I worked as a unit stills photographer on a short film called Snowflakes, It’s great to see one of the unit still I shot used on the poster for the film! - see below

I Recently shoot a workshop for creative England and also captured 20 portraits of the students on the course.
This was an interesting job as the portraits had to be captured in one location but had to have some variety in the photos to match the students personalities, and there was a limited time allocation for them to be shot, so it was fun think on my feet and get variety in a small space, i’m quite happy with the results it helps having photogenic people to capture!

A few photos from a fun shoot with the wonderful band Megatrain!
Was a laugh as always with these guys, we did a shoot on location in a really beautiful mid century house, with such amazing decor inside and out and we shot using natural light.
The band have released a new song and music video which the photos where to accompany, which can be found here !

Had a lovey headshot shoot last weekend with LAMDA graduate actress’s Helen, we had a lot of fun in the studio getting her headshots updated and added a little bit of time for a few portraits to!
These can be seen below and in the Studio Portraits section of the site!
Then I went on to a fun short film called Small Blips doing behind the scenes photography, which was shot it the beautiful sunshine on a farm, I will share the photos from once there edited and once I have confirmation on release!
For now il be busy editing, shooting more headshots and have another film il be doing Behind the scenes on in the pipeline!

I worked on a little Commercial last week doing behind the scenes photography on a Farm in Rugby it was an interesting shoot with tractors and a robot arm for the camera, which was called the Milo! It was very fun to photograph, and watch manoeuvre around the actors to capture the scene.
Here’s a few photos from the shoot, I met some lovely people and leaned how to sneakily get my shots without being hit by a gigantic mechanical arm!

I’l now be moving onto a short film next week doing more Behind the scenes!

I have an exciting short film coming up which I will be doing behind the scene photography on, and more commercials and headshot shoots to, I have a very exciting project in the pipeline which I’m looking to working on soon!

As I’ve mentioned a few times photography is not just a job to me its my passion and I enjoy doing it in my spare time as much as I do for work! One of my favourite aspects of it is going out into the country side and capturing the natural beauty, so when some snow had settled in the local area I had to go and explore.
I visited Attenborough Nature Reserve and it was like a beautiful Winter wonderland, So here’s a few images from my day exploring this stunning scenery. It’s so important that we take time for ourselves and do what we love!

Yesterday was Nottingham’s Beat the Street’s music festival, which is an event where local Nottingham musicians play in venues across the city to help raise money for the Framework Charity which is in aid of helping homeless people, every penny raised goes to this charity!
It’s for such a good cause, Living in a city I see more and more homeless people each day. I volunteer to photograph this day for DHP to document the event to help raise awareness and funds for framework.
It’s such a fun event and everyone buying a ticket, working or volunteering their time to make the event a success makes me proud of my city!
