Art inspired by my Portraits

Two of my Portraits have been made into amazing paintings by some talented artists. It’s very beautiful to see my images from a different viewpoint and a different medium of art, I’m also very heartened to have my work inspire others to create.

This is a recreation of my portrait of the wonderful actress Chloe, Created by the talented Georgina Alice.

Thanks so much to Lynn and Georgina for creating such lovely artistic portraits from my work, and of course to Daisy and Chloe for being brilliant models to work with when creating the photos.

Thanks,

Beat the Street's!

Yesterday was Nottingham’s Beat the Street’s music festival, which is an event where local Nottingham musicians play in venues across the city to help raise money for the Framework Charity which is in aid of helping homeless people, every penny raised goes to this charity!

It’s for such a good cause, Living in a city I see more and more homeless people each day. I volunteer to photograph this day for DHP to document the event to help raise awareness and funds for framework.

It’s such a fun event and everyone buying a ticket, working or volunteering their time to make the event a success makes me proud of my city!

So here’s a few photos of the bands from the Day :)

The Gregory Crewdson Exhibition

I recently visited London to see the Gregory Crewdson Exhibition as he's one of my favourite photographers!

He creates such magical worlds and images, to be able to see his work at the photographers Gallery as massive prints up on the wall was mind-blowing, he's such a talented photographer!

These are three of my favourite prints from the exhibition!

I love the colours in this image and the way the light fills the shed, there is so much detail in the print which all helps create the world and story behind the image.

This image is just so beautiful and eye catching the colours, the way the trees frame the guy on his ski's, the mysteriousness of the world is so intriguing.

Again the colours and light catch my eye, the flower beds all placed around and the dirt on her hands just leads to an interesting story hidden in the image!
