A Snowy Day

As I’ve mentioned a few times photography is not just a job to me its my passion and I enjoy doing it in my spare time as much as I do for work! One of my favourite aspects of it is going out into the country side and capturing the natural beauty, so when some snow had settled in the local area I had to go and explore.

I visited Attenborough Nature Reserve and it was like a beautiful Winter wonderland, So here’s a few images from my day exploring this stunning scenery. It’s so important that we take time for ourselves and do what we love!

Beat the Street's!

Yesterday was Nottingham’s Beat the Street’s music festival, which is an event where local Nottingham musicians play in venues across the city to help raise money for the Framework Charity which is in aid of helping homeless people, every penny raised goes to this charity!

It’s for such a good cause, Living in a city I see more and more homeless people each day. I volunteer to photograph this day for DHP to document the event to help raise awareness and funds for framework.

It’s such a fun event and everyone buying a ticket, working or volunteering their time to make the event a success makes me proud of my city!

So here’s a few photos of the bands from the Day :)

The Band Dandylions- these guys where so colourful and so much fun!

The Band Ajaj Henry- He has a beautiful voice and amazing vibe!

Rob Green- Such a sweet kid, great vibe and he was so happy to be playing at rock city!

The Gregory Crewdson Exhibition

I recently visited London to see the Gregory Crewdson Exhibition as he's one of my favourite photographers!

He creates such magical worlds and images, to be able to see his work at the photographers Gallery as massive prints up on the wall was mind-blowing, he's such a talented photographer!

These are three of my favourite prints from the exhibition!

This image is just so beautiful and eye catching the colours, the way the trees frame the guy on his ski's, the mysteriousness of the world is so intriguing. — This image is just so beautiful and eye catching the colours, the way the trees frame the guy on his ski's, the mysteriousness of the world is so intriguing.

Again the colours and light catch my eye, the flower beds all placed around and the dirt on her hands just leads to an interesting story hidden in the image!
