It's been a while since I last blogged, but I’ve been diving into photo editing lately, and I just had to share my experience with Dehancer. I recently took a trip to Norway, capturing some stunning landscapes, and I couldn’t wait to see how Dehancer would transform those shots. Spoiler alert: it didn’t disappoint!
For those unfamiliar, Dehancer is a photo editing software that specializes in giving your images that classic, film-like quality. It offers a wide range of film stock options, from the warmth of Kodak to the rich tones of Fujifilm and the timeless black-and-white of Ilford. The customization options are impressive—you can tweak LUTs (color profiles) to perfectly match the mood of each individual photo.
One of the features I love is the side-by-side preset preview, allowing you to quickly test different looks and decide which works best. You can then fine-tune elements like grain, halation, vignette, and more to suit your personal style. The software is fast and responsive—LUTs load within seconds—making the editing process smooth and efficient.

The year of 2021, A little different work wise for me as I beacme a mum for the first time, to a beautiful baby girl, but I had some fun doing a couple of shoots through the year and a few weeks on set to! thanks for everyone for coming in for studio shoot, it was lovely to work witn you all!

Wonderful shoot with Sarah we had some requested Christmas tunes on for the shoot, which got us in the Christmas spirit!
Sarah booked the short session so the focus was on the headshots only, but she also brought some extra shots, in the end, to add to her portfolio.

Hello,
I recently had a wonderful shoot with the talented comedian Rosie, who came into the studio for some comedian headshots, and portraits one of which was for a potential poster for her show later this year. We had a good chat and lots of laughs and worked on getting the best images for her to showcase her work. I look forward to seeing Rosie progress within her comedian career.

Sorry, it’s been a while I’ve been enjoying time with my beautiful daughter Harper, she has been my photography muse as of late, and will be forever I imagine haha. it’s been lovely to take some time off with my family, but I’m looking forward to easing back into work!
So I’ve decided to go on semi-maternity at the moment,, so feel free to get in touch with any jobs and il see where I can fit it in.

Unit stills from the short film Roy, I got to work with the lovely BAFTA award-winning David Bradley, such a wonderfully kind man.
We were on a lovely set in a small cottage, within a picturesque village. So much fun was had with lots of laughs!
